Numerous local organizations are available for the residents of the Village of Fairfax.

Fairfax Youth Organization
The Fairfax Youth Organization (FYO) is a nonprofit organization that sponsors neighborhood sports for children ages 4 to 18.  We currently offer Fall / Spring Soccer, Winter Basketball, and Summer Golf.

Knothole Baseball
Knothole baseball has been part of Fairfax for over 40 years. The term "knothole" comes from the time when youngsters would watch their favorite teams through the "knotholes" in the wooden outfield fences instead of paying.

Swim Club
The Fairfax Swim Club, a private membership club, is located at 3921 Southern Avenue. The swimming season is from the Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
