Citizen involvement with the police force is crucial to assure open communication and the survival of both the citizens and the police force. To meet these needs, The Fairfax Police Department operates several on-going programs. These include:

  • Ohio's Red Ribbon Campaign

  • Police Department Tours

  • Community Festival

  • "Caught Being Good" Program at Fairfax Elementary

  • Fairfax Elementary Slogan Contest

  • Mariemont Schools Safety Talks

  • Boy & Girl Scout Talks

  • "Fingerprint America" Program

  • Scholarship for a graduating Fairfax Senior to further their education

  • Fairfax Nazarene Church Fall Festival

  • Identity Theft Program ( Ohio Attorney General Program) 

In addition, we provide the following services to assist residents and businesses:

  • Bicycle Registration

  • Emergency Notification Plan for Residents & Businesses

  • Home Safety Surveys

  • Business Surveys

  • Vacation Home Checks

  • Elderly Resident Checks
