Executive Committee

This committee covers all aspects of the village that are not covered under finance. This incorporates A.D.A. (American with Disabilities), Safety, Parks, Maintenance, Recycling, Beautification and issues pertaining to the environment (including garbage removal).

The purpose of this committee is to discuss and make recommendations to council and to give feedback to department heads and the administration. Representatives from all departments attend the meetings. As elected officials, we also share the concerns expressed to us by residents. All meetings are open to the public and provisions are made for citizens to express their concerns.

Issues relating to any of the above topics will be directed to the appropriate committee member. We work as a team because many issues overlap and we have found this to be an efficient way to work. We have been involved in supporting the village in developing policies and procedures that effect all areas. Our meetings are for the purpose of improving the village and to better serve the residents.

Finance Committee

This committee oversees the finances of the village. This includes income, expenses and the general operating budget. The committee responds to all executive matters, including matters pertaining to personnel issues.
